On June 2, 1991, the Ebony Suburbanites (a local organization of African American women) presented a plaque to the Mount Zion AME Church of New Brunswick in recognition of the church's service to the community. This typewritten page is the text of the acceptance speech written by Alice Jennings Archibald, who accepted the plaque on behalf of the church. The plaque was presented at the 18th Cotillion of the Ebony Suburbanites.
