Cartoon printed in September 1926 in the Chanticleer, a humor magazine produced by Rutgers students. The image depicts two characters, labeled "Big Shot from Winchester" and "Indian Guide," and also a "Bird Dog" and a bird. The caption below the image presents a dialog:

"Say, boy, can yo' speak animal talk?"
"Sho' can."
"Well, next time yo' sees a skunk, ast him what's de big idea."

The author of the cartoon is Ozzie Nelson (Oswald George Nelson), Rutgers class of 1927. Nelson became famous as the co-creator of the long-running radio and TV show The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. He was inducted into the Rutgers Hall of Distinguished Alumni in 1989.
