William B. Parker and Joseph W. Scott, administrators of the estate of the late Alpheus Freeman, seek to sell a black woman, aged 24. Alpheus Freeman (1766-1813) was a Queen's College graduate, class of 1788, and a lawyer with substantial real estate holdings in New Brunswick. The same advertisement also lists 8 buildings for rent in New Brunswick, all belonging to Freeman's estate.
