William B. Parker and Joseph W. Scott, administrators of the estate of the late Alpheus Freeman, seek to sell a black woman, aged 24. Alpheus Freeman (1766-1813) was a Queen's College graduate, class of 1788, and a lawyer with substantial real estate holdings in New Brunswick. The same advertisement also lists 8 buildings for rent in New Brunswick, all belonging to Freeman's estate.

To Rent,

THAT elegant and established stand for business, the
CITY HALL;
Now in the occupancy of Philip Pierson, situate on the corner of Prince and George streets, in the City of New-Brunswick. The house is large, commodious, and in complete repair—the out buildings are spacious and complete, with a pump of excellent water and a cistern in the yard. This stand is in every respect circulated to carry on an an extensive and profitable business.—Possession given the first of May.

The house adjoining the above, in Prince-street; an excellent stand for a Grocery Store, having been occupied as such for several years.—Immediate possession given.
