A slaveholder in Trenton seeks to sell a 15-year-old black boy in a private sale. The boy is supposed to be manumitted at age 30 and has approximately 15 years left to serve. The slaveholder is not named in the ad, and the prospective buyers are asked to apply to the printers of the New Jersey State Gazette newspaper for more information.

TO BE SOLD,
The TIME of a NEGRO BOY,
WHO has between 15 and 16 years to serve : He was born and bred on a farm, and is capable either of farming business, or of house work and waiting within doors. He is now between 14 and 15 years old, and is to be free at the age of 30. Any person inclining to purchase his time, may do it on reasonable terms, as the present proprietor has not full employment for him. The terms and any other information respecting him, may be had on application to the printers.
