I Garret Voorhees of the Township of South Amboy in the County of Middlesex and the State of New Jersey, do hereby certify that my negro woman named Sarah Higgins was delivered of the three following male children viz. Peter born the twenty first day of January eighteen hundred and twenty one, William born the third day of March eighteen hundred and twenty two, and Lewis born the fourteenth day of July eighteen hundred and twenty three. — Witness my hand this fourth day of September eighteen hundred and twenty three —
